Spending any surplus money dedicated to renovating a Masjid to build another Masjid
Q: Some of my neighbors and I collected some donations to renovate our Masjid (mosque), and I was assigned to handle the whole process. There is some money left over; is it permissible for me to spend this extra money on another Masjid after meeting all the needs of the concerned Masjid, to discharge my responsibility for this money that is perturbing me?
A: It is permissible for you to spend the surplus money that you have from the donations to renovate your Masjid on another Masjid. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
