Rooms inside the Masjid
Q 6: Is it permissible to begin I`tikaf (seclusion for worship in a Masjid) in the security office or in the Zakah Committee room which are both in the Masjid (mosque)? It should be noted that the doors of these rooms are inside the Masjid.
A: The rooms whose doors lead to the Masjid (Part No. 10; Page No. 412) take on the same ruling as the Masjid. If the rooms were outside the Masjid, then they would not be considered a part of the Masjid even if their doors lead to the Masjid.
