My father

Q 3: A fasting person traveled during the month of Ramadan. Though his nose and mouth bled suddenly after the Zhuhr (Noon) Prayer, he did not break his fast that day. What is the religious ruling in this case? Is he supposed to make up for that day? This happened many years ago and he has not made up for that day till now.

(Part No. 10; Page No. 267)  A: The blood that suddenly goes out of your nose or mouth - no matter how much it is - does not affect your fasting as long as you continued to abstain from eating, drinking, and sexual intercourse until sunset. Your fasting is valid and you are not required to make up for that day.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
