Breaking voluntary Sawm
Q 1: What is the ruling on breaking voluntary Sawm (fast); is it a sin?
A: A person observing voluntary Sawm may break it and will not have to make up for it. In fact, a person observing voluntary fast is given free rein regarding voluntary Sawm whether before or after commencing it.May Allah grant us success.
