Zakah on sugarcane


A: There is no Zakah on planted sugarcane, rather Zakah is on its price if it is sold and the money attains a year, and reaches the Nisab (the minimum amount of money on which Zakah should be paid) separately or collectively when added to other Zakah money or commercial commodities.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
