Wiping the ears during Wudu'


A: Wiping the ears with water from both inside and outside is one of the obligatory acts of Wudu'. However, if a person thinks that it is more likely that wiping their ears will cause them harm, they are permitted not to wipe their ears and to perform Tayammum (dry ablution with clean earth) instead after finishing Wudu', intending it for the ears.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
