Whether it is permissible to make use of the concessions of traveling for a traveler approaching his home town
A:
It is permissible for a person who travels a distance more than 80 km to combine and shorten two Salahs during their journey at the time of the earlier or the later Salah according to what is most convenient for them until they reach their homeland. However,
if the remaining distance before arrival is very short, it is better for them to offer the presently due Salah at its prescribed time and to offer the next Salah in full when they arrive at their homeland with the congregation in the Masjid (mosque). It is also permissible to offer ‘Isha’ Prayer with Maghrib Prayer at the time of the earlier one, as they are still on a journey.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
