When the Imam forgets to perform Sujud-ul-Sahw


A: If the Imam forgets to perform Sujud-ul-Sahw and is reminded after turning to the Ma’mums, he should face the Qiblah, say the Takbir ("Allahu Akbar [Allah is the Greatest]"), prostrate twice for Sujud-ul-Sahw, and then say the Taslim (salutation of peace ending the Prayer). The Ma’mums should also follow him in this.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
