What is the ruling on having one braid? I was told
Q: Is it permissible to comb the hair during the first ten days of Muharram?
A: All praise be to Allah Alone, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family and Companions. It is permissible to comb the hair on the Day of ‘Ashura’ (10th of Muharram) or any preceding days during Muharram, as on any other day.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
