We carry the coffin of the deceased person from his home to the graveyard, walking on foot for half an hour


A 6: Reciting Dhikr (Remembrance of Allah) while carrying the deceased in the funeral procession is a Bid`ah (heresy in religion). Thus it is not permissible. It becomes most disapproved when it is done collectively.May Allah grant us success. May Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions!
