Washing one's behind before Wudu' for having broken wind

Q: If I break wind after making Wudu’ (ablution), is it obligatory on me to wash my behind before I perform Wudu' once again? Also, is it obligatory to wash one’s behind after getting up from sleep?

A: All praise be to Allah Alone, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, and his family and Companions. If the reality is as you mentioned, it is not obligatory nor is it Sunnah (a supererogatory act following the example of the Prophet) to wash your behind before performing Wudu’ again if you break wind.
