Vowing to fast for a month but cannot due to work conditions

Q 1: I had a psychological illness. I made a vow to observe Sawm (fasting) for a month if I recover, and I did. However, I am unable to observe Sawm due to working nine hours a day. What is the ruling on this? May Allah reward you.

A: It remains a debt on you until you can do it. You should (Part No. 23; Page No. 305) fulfill your vow, according to the saying of the Prophet (peace be upon him), A person who vows to obey Allah should do so. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
