Vowing to do something but forgetting it

Q 1: I made a vow 4 years ago and forgot to fulfill it. What should I do? (Part No. 23; Page No. 285


A: If the vow you made 4 years ago is an act of obedience to Allah, it will be obligatory on you to fulfill it. It was authentically reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, Whoever vows to obey Allah should obey Him. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
