Visiting a male doctor to discover the cause of the inability to conceive

Q 3: I have been married for three years, but my wife still has not given birth to any children. I would like her to be examined by a physician; however, there are only male doctors available. Is it permissible for my wife to be examined? (Part No. 25; Page No. 112

A: If no specialist female doctor is available, it is permissible for your wife to be checked by a male specialist in order to know what is impeding pregnancy.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
