Using henna does not affect Ghusl or Wudu'

Q: Does using henna during menstruation affect the validity of Ghusl (ritual bath)?


A: All praise be to Allah Alone, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger, and his family and Companions.Using henna does not affect Ghusl or Wudu’ (ablution), as it does not have the density or thickness which prevents water from reaching the skin. However, if it is a thick solution, it should be removed before Ghusl so that it does not prevent the water. (Part No. 5; Page No. 223) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
