Q 1: What is the meaning of the Hadith which states: Allah has cursed the men who imitate women and the women who imitate men ? What is meant by imitation in this Hadith? Does shaving one's beard fall under the category of imitating women?

A: Imitation here means men copying women in the way they dress or talk and vice versa. There is a Hadith that prohibits a Muslim from shaving his beard; an act which can be considered a form of imitating women.May Allah grant us success.
