A:
Superiority of some Ayahs (Qur'anic verses) and Surahs over others is well confirmed in the Sunnah, such as the virtue of Surah Al-Fatihah, Ayat-ul-Kursy (the Qur'anic Verse of Allah's Chair, Surah Al-Baqarah, 2:255), Surah Al-Ikhlas and others, taking into account that all Surahs are the True Words of Allah. The superiority of some Surahs and Ayahs over others is attributed to the special meanings contained within each and the confirmation of their excellence by the Sunnah. This superiority is Tawqifiy (bound by a religious text and not amenable to personal opinion) and is closed to Ijtihad (juristic effort to infer expert legal rulings or interpretations). As for the special excellence of Surah Ya-Sin, we do not know a Sahih (authentic) Hadith reported from the Prophet (peace be upon him) in this regard. Allah knows best.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
