The ruling on a testimonial is
A: Taking a loan with interest is impermissible because it is Riba (usury). It is, thus, impermissible to guarantee this loan, because this involves cooperation in sin and transgression. You should turn (Part No. 14; Page No. 195) to Allah in repentance and not return to such work. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
