The poem 'This is Predestination'

Q: Please give me your Shari`ah-based opinion regarding the poem of "The Hand of Fate" which reads: (Part No. 1; Page No. 14

A: The words of this poem are not permissible, as they ascribe Allah's acts to Predestination while it is Wajib (obligatory) to ascribe all matters to Allah the Sole Determiner of Predestination. A Muslim must also be content with Predestination, call themselves to account, and repent of sins which are the reason for punishment. Allah (Exalted be He) states, And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
