The meaning of ingratitude to parents


A: Ingratitude to parents is to wrong them even by means of showing annoyance or frowning, or disobeying them unless they order you to commit an unlawful act or hold you back from doing good, in which case you must not obey them even if it will upset them. It will not be considered ingratitude to them (Part No. 25; Page No. 179) because obedience to Allah is more important.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
