For you need something from me.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, 'Do you know who is the caller?' They said, 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, 'This is Iblis (Satan), may Allah curse him.' `Umar ibn Al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said, 'O Messenger of Allah, will you allow me to kill him?' The Messenger (peace be upon him) said, 'Wait, O `Umar! Do you not know that he (Satan) is one of those given respite to a specified day? Open the door for him as he is ordered, just understand what he will say and listen to him.' When they opened, they found a one-eyed old man..."
