The Hadith: 'Three signs when seen, the Last Day is due'
Q: I read in the book entitled Al-Siraj Al-Munir Sharh Al-Jami` Al-Saghir (vol. 2 p. 180), a Hadith which reads:
"Three signs when seen, the Last Day is due: When the populated land grows uninhabited
and the uninhabited becomes populated, the good is looked upon as evil and the evil is looked upon as good, and men manipulate their trusts dishonestly and nonchalantly.
Please inform me regarding the authenticity of this Hadith.

A:
This Hadith is related by
Al-Tabarany. It was also mentioned by
Al-Suyuty in his book Al-Jami` Al-Saghir who ascribed this Hadith to the book Tarikh by
Ibn `Asakir and ranked it as Da`if (weak).
Al-Haythamy said that its Isnad (chain of narrators) is weak because it includes
Yahya ibn `Abdullah Al-Nabulsy who is a weak narrator.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
