Q 2: After I had consummated my marriage with my wife and we had a child, we started to argue a lot. I used to say to her, “Go to your family,” but I have forgotten what I intended by saying that. I recently heard that
if a man says to his wife, “Go to your family,”
and he wants her to do this, his wife becomes divorced.
A:
If the reality is as you mentioned and you did not intend to divorce her, this is not counted as divorce, because the ruling principle is that the original state remains in effect, unless the occurrence of that which overrules is established.
