Taking photographs and making sculptures of beings with souls

A: Taking photographs and making sculptures of living beings that have souls is prohibited. The Prophet (peace be upon him) cursed those who draw pictures and said: Verily, they would be the most grievously tormented people on the Day of Resurrection. We advise you to spend your leisure time in what is of benefit to you like reading, trading and other useful things that turn you away from illicit acts.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
