Q 1:
Where should a woman stand when her husband is leading her in Salah (Prayer)?
A:
When a man leads a woman in Salah, even if she is his wife, she has to stand behind him. It is reported that
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Prophet (peace be upon him) visited him in his house and led him and his family in two supererogatory Rak`ahs (units of Prayer) before noon. He (Anas) stood on his right and his mother stood behind them.
According to another narration:
I, along with the orphan, stood behind him, while Um Sulaym stood behind us.
