Q 4: Which is better during the congregational Salah: to stand on the right side of the row in a spot which is far from the Imam (the one who leads congregational Prayer) or on the left side in a spot which is nearer to the Imam?

A: It is better to stand on the right side of the row whether near or far from the Imam. This is based on the following Hadith in which the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, Allah and His angels bless those who are on the right sides of the rows. (Related by Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah and Ibn Hibban) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
