Shaking hands with people offering Salah

Q 2: When I meet a Muslim brother before Salah (Prayer), I shake hands with him. (Part No. 24; Page No. 126) Then the Iqamah (call to start the Salah) takes place and we offer Salah. Then when we get out of the Masjid (mosque), I greet him and shake hands with him again. Is this shaking of hands for the second time outside the Masjid considered Bid`ah (innovation in religion)?

A: There is no harm in what you did, if you separated after Salah, for Salam is Mashru` (Islamically acceptable) for Muslims when meeting and separating.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
