Seeking treatment when ill

Q 2: Please give me a Fatwa on whether it is better for a sick person to seek treatment or not? What is the meaning of the Hadith Qudsy (Revelation from Allah in the Prophet's words): If I deprive my slave of his two beloved things (i.e., his eyes) and he remains patient, I will let him enter Paradise in compensation for them. May Allah reward you with the best!

A: It is better to seek treatment, for the Prophet (peace be upon him) did so and recommended people to do so. There is nothing wrong in leaving it. The said Hadith is Sahih (authentic). It means that if Allah deprives someone of the light of his eyes and he remains patient, Allah will compensate him with Jannah (Paradise).May Allah grant us success.
