Salam sale of a car

A: It is permissible to buy a car with certain specifications at a specified price that was agreed-upon in the session when the contract was concluded at a specified time. It is authentically reported on the authority of Ibn `Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: When Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) came to Al-Madinah, they were paying one and two years in advance for fruits, so he said: Those who pay in advance for anything must do so for a specified weight and for a definite time. Agreed upon by Al-Bukhari and Muslim. (Part No. 14; Page No. 99) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
