Ruling on throwing away edible foods
A: It is impermissible to throw edible food in the trash. (Part No. 26; Page No. 310) In fact this food should be kept for use at least to feed the animals; because disposing of it in the garbage is an abuse of the blessing of food and a waste of money.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
