Ruling on reciting Al-Fatihah after Du`a'
A: It is not permissible to recite Al-Fatihah after Du`a', because this was neither reported (Part No. 2; Page No. 540) from the Prophet (peace be upon him), nor the Rightly-Guided Caliphs. All goodness is to be found in following the guidance of the Prophet (peace be upon him), and that of his caliphs.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
