Ruling on putting something in the mouth while offering Salah
Q 1: What is the ruling on putting something, such as cloves, in the mouth while offering Salah (Prayer)?
A: It is not permissible for a person offering Salah to put anything in his mouth, for this diverts him from reciting Qur’an, and needs chewing and swallowing, which contradict the respect due to Salah.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
