Ruling on objects cast out by sea

Q 8: What is the ruling on what washes ashore on the beach, such as artifacts which come up from the sea or found on the surface of the water?

A: Items found on the beach or within the sea take the same ruling as Luqatah (a lost article found by someone else). (Part No. 15; Page No. 455) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
