Ruling on divorce before consummation
A: As he divorced his wife before consummating the marriage, this divorce is irrevocable. It is not permissible for him to take her back in marriage unless he makes a new marriage contract with her and gives her a new Mahr (mandatory bride gift) suitable for the like of her, and also after fulfilling the conditions and pillars of marriage. (Part No. 20; Page No. 60) May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
