Ruling on actresses

Q 9: What is the legal decision on actresses who commit abominable acts publicly and display their charms publicly for all people on the screen? Again, what is the ruling on the actors who commit abominable acts such as kissing and foreplay with actresses? Are these actors and actresses not considered disbelievers who defy Allah? May Allah reward you with the best!

A: This is a manifest abominable act whose prohibition is Ma`lum minad-din biddarurah (well-established and known Islamic principles). Whoever commits this act (Part No. 26; Page No. 269) considering it a lawful act is a Kafir (disbeliever) who apostatizes from Islam. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
