Returning Salam and continuing recitation
Q 9: Is it permissible for a Muslim reciting the Qur’an to interrupt the recitation to return the Salam (Islamic greeting of peace) paid by a passerby?
A: A Muslim should return the Salam and then continue reciting the Qur'an so as to combine the two virtuous deeds.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
