Relieving oneself from urine or stool in the graveyards

A: It is impermissible to relieve oneself from urine or stool in the graveyards, because it is an act of disrespect to the dead and causes harm to those attending the funeral. The graveyard is not a place to relieve oneself.It is permissible to transport the dead body by car. As to the third question, the recitation of surat Yasin or any other Surah by the grave was not indicated by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) or the Salaf (righteous predecessors). It is therefore a Bid`ah (heresy in religion). The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Offer some of your prayers in (Part No. 7; Page No. 342) your homes and do not take them as graveyards for the devil flees from the house where Surat Al-Baqarah is recited." This demonstrates that the graveyard is not a place where the Holy Qur'an is to be recited nor for offering prayers.May Allah grant you success!
