Reciting the Qur'an while not being Junub

Q 28: Is it permissible to recite the Qur’an without having performed Wudu’ (ablution), but not while being Junub (in a state of post-sexual ritual impurity)? Also, is it permissible to recite it while facing a direction other than that of the Qiblah (Ka‘bah-direction faced in Prayer)?

A: It is permissible for a Muslim to recite the Qur’an as long as they are not Junub, even if they have not performed Wudu’ or are not facing the Qiblah. However, the Mus-haf (copy of the Qur’an) should not be touched except by a person ritually pure from both major and minor ritual impurities.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
