Q 3: Is the Jumu`ah (Friday) Prayer valid if the same Khutbah (sermon) is said every time and lasts only for eight minutes?

A: It is not stipulated for the validity of the Jumu`ah Prayer that the Khutbah be long. It is also not stipulated that a different Khutbah be given every Friday While it is permissible to repeat the same Khutbah for more than once, it is best to present a new Khutbah as often as possible. This provides more information, entertainment, effectiveness, and prevents boredom.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
