Placing the right hand over the left one on the chest during Salah when standing

A: Placing the right hand over the left on the chest during Salah when standing is a Sunnah (supererogatory act of worship following the example of the Prophet) that can be left and Salah is valid without it. It is not permissible for you to break away from the congregational Salah for this reason. (Part No. 5; Page No. 308) May Allah grant us success.
