Q 3: What is the ruling on Photographs taken for necessities or for decorative purposes?

A: Taking photographs of animate beings is Haram (prohibited), except for a necessity, such as photographs taken for identification cards or for passports, or taking photographs of criminals to facilitate arresting them in case they commit crimes and run away, as well as other cases of necessity.May Allah grant us success.
