Permissibility of sharing the days of fasting as Kaffarah with someone

Q 1: My brother had an accident, and a man was killed as a result. My brother has to fast as expiation. Is it permissible for me to share the days of fasting with him, since he has things to do?

A: It is not permissible for you to help your brother or any other person in making Kaffarah (expiation) for involuntary manslaughter, as it is not permissible to fast on behalf of the living.May Allah grant us success.
