Permissibility of saying: By chance, I met so and so
A: It is neither Haram to say, "I met so-and-so by chance" nor does it entail Shirk because what the speaker means is that they met that person without a prior plan to meet and without intending to do so. Hence, there is nothing wrong with using this phrase.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
