Performing `Umrah for someone who has not performed Hajj

Q 1: Is it permissible for a person who did not perform Hajj to perform `Umrah (the lesser pilgrimage) only without performing Hajj?


(Part No. 11; Page No. 319)  A: It is permissible for him to perform `Umrah even if he did not perform Hajj in the same year.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
