A: It is recommendable to pay Zakatul-Fitr on behalf of an embryo, for this was practiced by `Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him). However, it is not obligatory as there is no evidence to this effect.May Allah grant us success. May blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and Companions!
