Paying Zakah to Zakah officers appointed by the ruler


A : The owner of cattle must pay the Zakah to the Zakah officers who are appointed by the Imam (ruler) and it is impermissible for him to pay it to others. If the time, when the Zakah officers collect Zakah, passes and it is not possible to deliver Zakah to them, it is permissible to pay it to its beneficiaries.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
