Paying Zakah on all the property one owns


A: The Zakah paid to the Directorate General of Zakah that is entrusted by the ruler with its collection is legally acceptable and sufficient. The payer of Zakah does not have to pay the Zakah again once his Zakah has been paid in full. Otherwise, he should pay any remaining sums of Zakah to the legal beneficiaries, if the full Zakah funds were not paid and he is not free from blame unless he does so.May Allah grant us success. May Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family and his Companions!
