Participating with Christians in their non-religious celebrations
Q 28: Is it permissible for a Muslim to participate with Christians in their non-religious celebrations and share in their sorrows, such as birthday celebrations or sending condolences to (Part No. 1; Page No. 431) the bereaved in or outside the cemetery?
A: Sharing non-religious celebrations and sorrows with the Christians is not permissible.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
