Offering Salah in another Masjid whose Imam is more versed in the Qur'an

A: It is better for Muslims to offer Salah behind an Imam who is qualified for this job, whether he is the Imam of a Masjid next to their houses or of any other Masjid as long as going to this other Masjid does not result in any harm, such as (Part No. 6; Page No. 312) a feeling of discomfort on the part of the Imam of the nearby Masjid or his followers because of them leaving their Masjid to another.May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
