My father used to work in a company

Q 2: If some people stole something and one of them wanted to clear their conscience, should they return the whole item or their share in it only?

A: It is obligatory on anyone who takes something by stealing or in another way, to return it in full to its owner; it is not lawful for them to take any part of it. May Allah grant us success. May peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and Companions.
